1969 Prince of Wales Crown

Made in 1969 for the Investiture of HRH Prince Charles at Caernarvon Castle in Wales.

This very modern crown contains all the traditional symbols in stylised form, with the addition of the engravings of the symbols of The Prince of Wales on the Monde and the birth star sign of Prince Charles in diamonds surrounding it. The Crown was made by an entirely new electro-plating process.
